In April 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, Artistic Directors Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod teamed up remotely with director Lucie Dawkins to record a series of creative conversations. The resulting audio podcasts of the series – entitled ‘Not True, But Useful…’ – were released in April-July 2020.

Following their release, we decided to create an edited version of the transcripts that would stand alone as a written educational resource, accessible for free from the Cheek by Jowl website.
