Owen trained at Drama Centre London. He has worked with Cheek by Jowl since 2006 assisting Declan Donnellan on international touring productions of The Changeling, Cymbeline, Troilus and Cressida and Macbeth.

For Cheek by Jowl he has run workshops in the UK and in Spain on Cheek by Jowl’s approach with a range of participants from young professionals to A level students. Owen is also Director of new theatre company Eyestrings Theatre (Edward II and In Bed With Messalina).
